I like the idea of this film as they are trying to get across the audience about the views on woman and how the media shows women in a certain way. For our film we are trying to not make it sound like we are preaching to our audience as it may make them bored and shut off. We would rather go down the route of shocking them into being aware that women should always have to look and act the way they are represented in the media, they should be allowed to look and act natural without being judged.
I think that this is a powerful film as she is shown wearing none sexy underwear, trying to get ready for a date. Her date then rings to tell her he is coming to pick her up early, which ruins her plans on spending a long time to try and look perfect. She sees a picture of a model and starts to feel insecure about herself and wants to change her whole appearance completely. In the end it shows her leaving for the date having chosen to go with her natural look and to be herself. This short film emphasises how in confident women really are with the way they look. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and should be their self.
